Packaging FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of custom packaging does Creative Edge Packaging offer?

We design and source corrugated boxes, folding and chipboard cartons, rigid set-up boxes, thermoform packaging, mylar bags, tins, jars and tinctures, sustainable packaging, and retail floor and countertop displays.

Can you help with packaging design as well as production?

Yes. We handle structural and graphic design, prototyping, material sourcing, production, and ongoing support after launch, from concept to completion.

Do you offer sustainable or eco-friendly packaging?

Yes. We offer 100% recycled and recyclable paper, soy-based inks, and compostable food containers. Our manufacturing partners hold Sustainable Forestry Initiative and Forest Stewardship Council certifications.

Where is your packaging manufactured?

Through our network of affiliated manufacturers across the US, Mexico, and Asia. We can also source from within the USA to help reduce exposure to import tariffs.

What is the difference between a folding carton and a rigid set-up box?

Folding cartons are printed paperboard that ships flat and is folded at packing, making them economical. Rigid set-up boxes are made from stiffer paperboard and arrive already assembled, so they suit high-value items like cosmetics, watches, and electronics.

How do I get started, and does a consultation cost anything?

Consultations are free. Call 949-748-7660, email david@cepkg.com, or request a quote online. We are based at 24681 La Plaza #260, Dana Point, CA 92629.
